Job Description - Wills & Probate Fee Earner

Private Client Solicitor (Wills & Probate) - Derbyshire

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and reputable legal practice in Ripley, Derbyshire.

Our client is seeking a skilled and empathetic Fee Earner to join their busy Wills and Probate / Private Client team. This role offers the chance to handle a diverse range of private client matters and provide crucial legal support to individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Probate, and Court of Protection applications.
Conducting client meetings to understand their needs and provide professional legal advice.
Drafting, updating, and producing Wills and LPAs with accuracy.
Undertaking property inspections and relevant legal research.
Ensuring high levels of client care and maintaining strong client relationships.
Effectively managing your own workload, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

5-10 years PQE within Private Client law.
Proven experience in professional Will and LPA drafting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
High-level IT skills.
A caring and empathetic approach to client matters.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
