Wills, Probate and Trust Solicitor Benefits:

• Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
  Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time option available min 20 hours per week)
  Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days office and 2 days working from home (flexible work patterns)
• Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent upon experience plus Performance-Related Bonus
• Working hours/days - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm - Flexible working hours (flexi time)

Wills, Probate and Trust Solicitor Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Managing probate applications and the administration of estates
• Providing tailored legal advice on estate planning, trusts, and tax implications
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and external professionals to ensure a smooth process
• Keeping abreast of relevant legislation and best practices within the field
• Upholding the firm's commitment to "Caring for Clients and Their Generations"
• Ensuring all client matters are handled with the highest level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail

Wills, Probate and Trust Solicitor Essential Skills and Experience:

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 7 years PQE in Wills and Probate Law
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
• Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Commitment to ensuring timely progression of client matters and providing transparent updates on progress and costs
• A proactive approach to ongoing professional development and legal education

Wills, Probate and Trust Solicitor Additional Information:

• Commute/Relocate: Applicants should have the ability to reliably commute to Market Harborough or be willing to relocate prior to commencing employment
• Education: LLB Hons Law Degree, Legal Practice Course, Solicitor/Legal Executive STEP qualified (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum of 7 year's experience in legal drafting and relevant Wills and Probate work (required)
