Window Fitter

Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a local company in the glazing and window industry, who are looking for an experienced Window Fitter to join their team, on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be attending client sites to conduct glazing repairs and installations, in Crawley / surrounding areas.

Day to day duties:

• Installing, repairing and maintaining double glazed windows
• Attending client sites on a daily basis
• Conducting assessments and generating quotations
• Taking payments via card
• Ensuring each job is completed to company standards
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Accurately measuring window openings
• Removing old or damaged windows
• Ensuring thermal installation and airtightness
• Replacing broken or failed double-glazing units
• Adjusting hinges and handles
• Liaising with clients and providing an excellent standard of service

Key Skills/Attributes:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Glazier/Window Fitter role or similar (essential)
• Full clean driving licence (essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills-comfortable in client facing environments
• Willingness to see jobs through to completion, even if after standard trading hours
• Knowledge / experience of surveying (advantageous)
• Physically fit and comfortable with occasional heavy lifting
