Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist to join the Front Door Team at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.

This is a rewarding role for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting adults to maintain their independence through timely, person-centred assessments and interventions.

The Role

As part of the Front Door Team, you will provide an outcome-focused Occupational Therapy assessment service to adults with physical disabilities and age-related conditions. You will work closely with individuals, their families, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote independence and deliver effective, strengths-based solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
Supporting adults with physical disabilities and age-related needs.
Recommending equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling solutions where appropriate.
Developing person-centred care and support plans.
Working collaboratively with health, social care, and community partners.
Managing a varied caseload while ensuring high-quality and timely interventions.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and current HCPC registration.
Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
Experience completing functional assessments and recommending equipment and adaptations.
Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
The ability to work independently within a fast-paced service.
