Your Impact

Reporting into the Revenue Accountant, you'll be the go-to person for all things WIP and billing. You’ll play a key role in driving financial accuracy, project profitability, and seamless invoicing - ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving, creative agency setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

Financial Management & Client Reporting

• Partner closely with Production and Client Services to ensure budgets and estimates in Paprika are always current and correct
• Own billing operations including accruals, deferrals, and month-end processes
• Reconcile project costs and revenue - your spreadsheets tell the real story behind each campaign
• Manage and maintain WIP accounts with total accuracy and transparency
• Be the financial point of contact for client billing queries - resolving issues quickly and professionally
• Track costs and revenue recognition, working in lockstep with Project Managers

Billing & Invoicing

• Deliver timely, accurate invoices aligned with client contracts
• Handle client setups and job creations from the finance side
• Proactively chase payments, keeping aged debt under control
• Provide clear, weekly commentary to the Financial Controller on billing status
• Monitor client portals for queries and respond like a pro

Team Collaboration

• Train and support teams on finance workflows so everyone speaks the same (financial) language
• Flag potential issues before they escalate, providing solutions with a can-do mindset
• Keep finance aligned with creative teams to deliver results across the board

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in billing, finance operations or project accounting - ideally within marketing, advertising, or production
• Strong knowledge of WIP, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and revenue processes
• Experience using Paprika (or similar tools like Maconomy, Pegasus, WorkBook, etc.)
• Sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot financial anomalies a mile off
• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are second nature
• Confidence communicating with internal teams and external clients alike

Nice to Have

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or part-qualified)
• Experience streamlining finance processes in a growing business
