Job Description - Wire Rope Operator

Due to the growth, Paragon Staffing, LLC is looking for qualified wire press operators to join our team! We take the stress and trouble away from finding each individual the right employment opportunity!

Key Duties

Set up and operate wire machines to produce high-precision components.
Load and unload workpieces, install and align tooling, and perform necessary machine adjustments.
Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous production.
Calculate wire cut lengths, fitting requirements and select appropriate equipment to produce all varieties of wire.
Manufacture lifting accessories in accordance with works instructions.
Inspect lifting accessories in accordance with works instructions.
Accurately tagging every wire reel that is produced – factory order tag, scrap tag, hold tag, etc.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a wire manufacturing environment (Preferred)
High school diploma or GED/equivalent
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Must be flexible with work tasks
Sharp eye for detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00AM to 5:00PM

Compensation:
$16/hr. to $19/hr.
