Wokingham - SP - Adult Safeguarding Hub £38.75 ph

Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to join the Adult Safeguarding Hub at Wokingham Borough Council.

This is a responsive and proactive safeguarding role, supporting the consistent achievement of positive outcomes for adults supported under the Adult Safeguarding framework.

Rate: £38.75 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid - approximately 1 day per week in the office for duty cover, with fortnightly team meetings. Visits to be arranged as required.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and respond to incoming Adult Safeguarding concerns, including applying safeguarding thresholds, completing risk assessments and undertaking Initial Assessments where required.

Act as Enquiry Officer and coordinate Section 42 Enquiries delegated to providers or partner agencies.

Act as Enquiry Officer and undertake complex Section 42 Enquiries where required.

Support Quality Assurance visits to providers when working under a safeguarding framework.

Participate in and support organisational abuse enquiries.

Represent Adult Social Care on multi-agency panels as required, including MARAC, MAPPA and CHANNEL.

Deliver Level 1 Adult Safeguarding training and other workshops in conjunction with team members.

Participate in or lead specific project work relating to the safeguarding agenda, including targeted awareness and prevention initiatives.

Provide advice, guidance and signposting to members of the public, Adult Social Care customers, providers and partner agencies in a safeguarding context.
