Pay Rate: £14-£17 per hour depending on experience

Overview:

We're currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Wood Machinist to join a successful Leicester-based manufacturing company, supplying premium wooden components to some of the UK's leading names in the hotel and hospitality industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, well-equipped workshop that combines the best of modern CNC machinery with traditional woodworking techniques.

• Accurately machining a wide range of wooden components

• Operating both modern and traditional wood machines, including saws, routers, spindle moulders, and planers

• Working from detailed technical drawings to achieve precise finishes

• Supporting production with quality control and workshop maintenance

• Ensuring consistent output to meet client expectations and deadlines

• Have a genuine passion for working with wood and a keen eye for detail

• Be hardworking, reliable, and highly organised

• Thrive in a dynamic, motivated team and be willing to go the extra mile

• Be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Be physically fit and safety-conscious in a hands-on role

• Have previous experience as a wood machinist or in a similar woodworking role
