Wood Machinist

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Wood Machinist for a prestigious company based in the St Albans area.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday (2 x 15 min breaks and 30 minutes lunch)

You are working as part of a team of 12 and you must be comfortable working with doors in particular, using mortise and tenon machines. The reading of drawings is essential as is knowledge of spindle moulding.

If you did have any expertise in Corian this would be a great advantage and/or a CB license.

Ideally you will have a NVQ level 2 or 3 or the relevant experience.

Salary is up to £39000pa depending upon background

Holiday entitlement is 21 days plus Bank Holidays (3 days are set aside for the Xmas shutdown.

The company as a whole is very social and they arrange a number of events throughout the year.
