Wood Machinist/Spindle Moulder Operator

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist / Spindle Moulder Operator to join a busy door manufacturing company based in Sheffield, S9.

Benefits:

Location: Sheffield, S9
Pay: £12.7 to £13.52 per hour
Hours: Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm - 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temp to Perm

Ongoing opportunities for the right candidateThis is a great opportunity for someone with a background in woodworking or joinery manufacturing who can operate wood machinery safely and accurately to produce high-quality components.

The Role

Operating a spindle moulder and other woodworking machinery.
Machining timber and door components to the required specifications.
Setting and adjusting machinery to achieve accurate results.
Reading and working from measurements, drawings and job specifications.
Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience operating a spindle moulder preferred but not essential as will consider someone with some machine oeprating experience
Experience as a wood machinist within a door manufacturing, joinery or woodworking environment.
Good understanding of woodworking machinery, tooling and machining processes.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
