WordPress PHP Developer - Bournemouth/Hybrid - Up to £50K

We are seeking a skilled WordPress PHP Developer to design, implement, and maintain websites, working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager to optimise site performance and user experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to align website design and business goals
• Developing front-end and back-end features using WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Managing website architecture, databases, and server integration
• Implementing and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins
• Conducting performance tests and providing insights
• Setting up and managing Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4)
• Troubleshooting website issues and improving SEO/SEM performance
• Monitoring site performance using tools like Google Search Console and Semrush

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a WordPress and PHP developer
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and the LAMP stack
• Expertise with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and tracking pixel implementation
• Familiarity with Git and version control (preferably Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and debugging tools
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Google Ads and PPC campaign integration
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and Azure services
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Node.js
• Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
