Workday IT Project Manager

We're seeking a Workday IT Project Manager with a strong technical background to join a major organisation in Gloucester. This role is critical to the delivery of core Workday Finance initiatives within a broader transformation programme.

The role is permanent, 3 days per week in their Gloucester office, 2 days at home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex IT-driven Workday projects across the full lifecycle.
• Operate as a Technology Project Manager, working closely with architecture, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Manage technical dependencies, integrations, and data migration in collaboration with internal IT and third-party vendors.
• Use tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking, workflow, and technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions are successfully integrated into the IT landscape and supported post go-live.

Skillset and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager with hands-on experience delivering Workday Finance projects
• Experience in insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of IT delivery models, systems integration, and project governance
• Solid technical knowledge and the ability to liaise confidently with engineers, architects, and tech leads
