We have an exciting 6-month fixed term contract opportunity to join our Workforce Planning & Organisational Development Team as a Workforce Development Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning, development and workforce planning and wants to play a key role in supporting our services to develop a skilled, capable and future-ready workforce.
About the role
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to build relationships across the organisation, contribute to workforce planning activity, and help develop effective systems and processes that support learning and development.
As Workforce Development Coordinator, you will:
Support and coordinate the delivery of learning and development activity across allocated services
Assist with identifying workforce development needs
Ensure learning opportunities are planned, delivered and evaluated effectively.
Working closely with managers, colleagues across HR and Workforce planning and Organisational Development, you'll help ensure our people have access to high-quality learning opportunities that support both current and future workforce needs.
Who we're looking for
You don't need to have worked in workforce development before. We're looking for someone with the right skills, mindset and enthusiasm to build relationships, coordinate activity and support the development of our workforce. If you're organised, proactive and enjoy working with people to achieve positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
You'll bring:
Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Experience of planning, coordinating or supporting activities, programmes or projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, managers and external partners.
The ability to analyse information, identify needs and support the development of practical solutions.
Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider team.
Strong digital skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 Tools, with a willingness to embrace new technologies and ways of working.
A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience in learning and development, workforce planning, organisational development or learning management systems would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to develop.
