Salary: £40,000 Basic + Overtime & Package
Location: King's Lynn / East Anglia

Gap Construction are working with a well-established, family-run construction and building maintenance contractor based in King's Lynn. With a strong reputation across East Anglia and a consistent pipeline of work, the business is known for its long-standing client relationships and quality delivery across sectors including commercial, hospitality, pubs, retail, and refurbishment.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Site Manager / Working Foreman on a permanent basis to support projects across the region.

The role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and fit-out projects, often within live retail and hospitality environments. Due to the spread of works, location is a key consideration, with suitable candidates ideally based around Huntingdon, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Wisbech, or the surrounding areas.

Performance Objectives

Managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Assisting with site paperwork and progress reporting.
Coordinating trades and maintaining programme deadlines.
Working closely with clients and operational teams throughout projects.
Supporting delivery across retail, hospitality, and refurbishment works.

Person Specification

Previous experience as a Working Foreman or Site Manager.
Background within refurbishment, fit-out, retail, or hospitality projects.
SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid preferred.
Hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence required.
