We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Experience Vendor Manager to join the Land & Property team at Yorkshire Water.

The Land & Property team is focused on safely managing and improving Yorkshire Water land, property and assets, for the benefit of Yorkshire Water, its customers and the environment. Its six teams manage a diverse portfolio including the corporate estate.
Where you fit in -

We are now looking for a?Workplace Experience Vendor Manager?to join the team managing the corporate estate and supporting operational colleagues. You will ensure the Yorkshire Waters Strategic Facilities Management service providers deliver the level of service required throughout the contracted period and that these deliverables meet the needs of the business and fulfil customer needs.

You will be the go to person for the Workplace Experience team in relation to the contracted services under your supervision, initially this will be Cleaning, Building Maintenance and other one-off suppliers as required, but will develop to include all contracted services within the Workplace Experience portfolio, as agreed with Workplace Experience Manager.

You will

Resolve vendor services and supplies issues and keep accurate and timely records of all PPMs/reactive orders/quotations, and to keep associated asset inventories and site maps updated in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for ensuring contractors deliver within their agreed SLAs, providing accurate and timely information to the Workplace Experience Performance Manager. You will support the team with the investigation of variations.
You will be the lead person for Workplace Experience in relation to all H&S policy updates, roll out of training and representing the team at all H&S related meetings/activities, lead in the development of compliance and trackers required to manage a safe working environment. Along with ensuring vendor compliance with company standards, which you will audit periodically. Advise, make recommendations, and implement solutions to ensure contractor RAMS comply with Yorkshire Water Management Procedures (MPs), Guidance Notes (GNs) and Safe Working Procedures (SWPs).
You will assist in ensuring the MPs, GNs and SWPs on SharePoint with contractors/suppliers are updated within two working weeks, together with the contents list, after notification of Document Amendments by the Safety Health & Environmental Protection Team.
You will support the Workplace Experience Manager, by providing tender support documentation as required.
You will be a deputy Workplace Experience key champion, which includes keeping accurate records on keys issued to and returned by contractors. The information is to be in an electronic format that can be audited periodically by YW security team.
Challenge business as usual and prepare business cases for the more effective use of both existing and new supply chains and actively seek out and make efficiency savings and or reductions to the relevant running costs.
Undertaking audits as required across Yorkshire.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

Previous Facilities Management experience.
Analytical and process driven skills with excellent time management.
Relevant Health & Safety knowledge.
Previous team management experience, especially in a customer driven environment.

Desirable Experience:

Having worked in both client facing and client-side roles.
Working in MEP delivery roles.
Working to SFG20.
Whole life costing of assets.
1st Aid qualified (fully trained and Certificate in date).
Fire Marshall trained in all aspects of fire duties.
SMSTS qualification.
Ideally you will hold a NEBOSH or similar qualification.
L3 Award in facilities management from the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management would be advantageous for the role.
You will require a driving licence for the role, as travel is required between different operational sites.
