Workplace Services Manager

Birchrose Associates is representing a prestigious Top 100 London law firm seeking to appoint an experienced Workplace Services Manager to join its Operations team.

Our client is a prestigious, long-established London law firm with an excellent reputation in the legal market. The firm provides bespoke legal services to high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and leading businesses, offering a friendly and collaborative working environment.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, proactive and highly organised Workplace Services Manager, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of workplace services and managing a team of seven. Working closely with the Head of Front of House & Workplace Services, the Workplace Services Manager will have key operational and management responsibilities, with a particular focus on Health & Safety. Duties to include:

Overseeing the day-to-day running of workplace services, including mailroom, reprographics, print, records management and floor support
Managing and supporting a team of seven, including recruitment, training and performance management
Coordinating property maintenance, external contractors and supplier relationships
Managing supplier contracts, including transcription and document production services
Assisting with budgets, reviewing costs and identifying opportunities to improve services
Supporting office moves, refurbishments and other workplace projects
Taking responsibility for Health & Safety across the firm, including risk assessments, fire safety and compliance
Working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of workplace servicesThis Workplace Services Manager position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

Previous experience in a workplace, facilities or operational leadership role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment (essential)
Proven experience managing in-house teams and outsourced service providers
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Health & Safety experience and a relevant qualification, such as IOSH or NEBOSH (essential)
Relevant professional qualifications, such as IWFM, are desirableVacancy Highlights
