Workshop Assistant

Hampshire Hose Services Ltd is a well-established company based in Southampton, proudly serving the South of England for over 38 years. We specialise in the procurement, stockholding, assembly, and testing of hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and related components for both hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Workshop Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the workshop and ensuring high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and manufacture products according to pick lists and works orders
• Handle customer enquiries and process counter sales
• Participate in regular stock takes and inventory checks
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop
• Adhere to non-conformance and quality control procedures
• Follow and uphold all company procedures, with a willingness to contribute suggestions for improvement
• Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor
