Job Description - Workshop Controller

Job Title: Bodyshop Workshop Controller

Location: Edinburgh, EH11

Salary: Up To £50,000 Basic + Bonus

Our client is one of the largest independent Accident Repair Groups in the UK and is an award -winning company with over 30 years of knowledge and expertise within the vehicle body repair sector. Having originated in the Midlands, the business is expanding rapidly through organic growth and acquisition throughout the UK.

They are dynamic in their approach and geared to completing outstanding repairs, by combining the latest techniques and most effective technology with delivering excellent customer service. They ensure that our customers are at the heart of what we do.

Whether it is minor car park damage or a road traffic accident our clients 200+ repair centres provide a range of services that use modern repair methods to put your vehicle back to its pre -accident condition, ensuring we repair every vehicle with utmost pride and care.

They are now actively looking to recruit for a Workshop Controller for their Accident Repair / Bodyshop in Edinburgh.

What You’ll Be Doing

Overseeing daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification

Allocating work to technicians based on skills, workload, and priorities

Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity, resolving any issues that arise

Liaising with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain a smooth repair process

Promoting a safe, compliant, and well -organised working environment


What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a workshop controller, senior technician, or similar role within the accident repair industry

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team

Solid understanding of repair processes and bodyshop operations

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure

A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and delivering work of the highest quality
