Workshop Engineer - Doncaster

Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer 
Location: Doncaster 
Basic Salary: £33,000–£38,000
OTE: £41,590–£47,524 per annum (based on 5 hours overtime) 

Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a Forklift Engineer to join a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment, working independently across a variety of makes and models.Your Responsibilities
Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Independently stripping down and rebuilding a variety of forklift truck makes and models
Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections
Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtime
Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule
Accurately completing service reports and job sheets
Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installedWhat You'll Need
Minimum of 5 years' fork truck engineering experience
Proven experience working as a Forklift Engineer, Material Handling Mechanic, Plant Fitter or similar
Ability to independently strip down and rebuild a variety of forklift truck makes and models
Proven experience working with diesel engines
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out LOLER inspections
Full UK driving licenceYour Package
Basic Salary: £33,000–£38,000
Performance-related bonus: up to £200 per month
OTE with 5 hours' overtime per week: £39,190–£45,124 per annum
Total OTE including bonus: £41,590–£47,524 per annum
Overtime paid at 1.5x
Company van or vehicle allowance of £250 per month
