Interaction Technical is working in partnership with a leading materials handling business to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer for their Milton Keynes depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded engineer to join a well-established company that genuinely invests in its employees. The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment within a busy depot workshop.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will ensure machines are maintained, repaired and prepared to the highest standards before being returned to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults Carry out planned maintenance and safety inspections Complete major repairs and component replacements Prepare equipment for customer delivery Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) Accurately complete workshop documentation and service reports Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety Work collaboratively within the engineering team

About You
We're keen to speak with engineers who have experience servicing, maintaining or repairing machinery, vehicles or mobile equipment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge Experience working on engines and mobile machinery Ability to work independently and within a team Positive attitude and willingness to develop Full UK Driving Licence preferred
