Interaction Technical is working in partnership with a leading materials handling business to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer for their Burton Latimer depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded engineer to join a well-established company that genuinely invests in its workforce. The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment within a busy depot workshop.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards before being returned to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults Carry out planned maintenance and safety inspections Complete major repairs and component replacements Prepare new and used equipment for customer delivery Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) Complete workshop paperwork and service reports accurately Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

About You
We're keen to speak with engineers who have experience servicing, maintaining or repairing machinery, vehicles or mobile equipment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge Experience working on engines and mobile machinery Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Full UK Driving Licence preferred
