The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment within a busy workshop environment.
You will work as part of an experienced engineering team, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards before being returned to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults Carry out planned maintenance and safety inspections Complete major repairs and component replacements Prepare new and used equipment for customer delivery Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) Accurately complete workshop documentation Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety

About You
We're looking for engineers with experience maintaining, repairing or servicing machinery, vehicles or equipment.
Strong mechanical engineering skills Good hydraulic and electrical fault-finding ability Experience working on engines and mobile machinery Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn Full UK Driving Licence preferred
