Workshop Fabricator Fitter

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Fabricator / Fitter to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, Depending on Experience.

Location: Weston-Super-Mare - BS24.

Schedule: 8 Hour Shifts- Monday to Friday.

The Role:

This role is for someone who is practically minded, ready for a challenge, and comfortable working as part of a team or on their own initiative. It can be physically demanding at times - expect lifting materials and working in tight spaces.

A typical day could involve any of the following:

Fitting out mobile kitchens and interiors in small spaces - horse boxes, caravans, catering trailers, exhibition trailers, chassis cab vehicles, vans and shepherd huts

Building the body of a trailer up from the chassis

Wiring and plumbing in fixtures and fittings

Woodwork - framing, lining out and fitting units

Welding as needed across builds

Cutting and fitting access doors, hatches and openings

It's a genuinely varied job, best suited to a practical all-rounder.

What You'll Need:

A practical, hands-on mindset

Ability to read plans and drawings

Good written, numerical and communication skills - essential

Ability to use plant machinery, including CNC (full training given)

Focus on the project, a team-player attitude, and the ability to meet deadlines

Able to supply two good references

Skills They are Looking For:

We'd like you to have some experience in at least two of the following:

Welding

Plumbing

Wiring

Woodwork

When you're given a task, we encourage you to use your initiative to solve problems as they come up. The year has busier seasons, and additional hours may be required at those times - overtime is available.
