Classeq are an independent manufacturing company with the headquarters in Stafford and are part of a global, family-owned business. In 2017, we moved to our new production facility close to Stafford Town Centre (Beacon Business Park).

Classeq’s core business is the manufacture and distribution of glass and dishwashers for pubs, clubs, hotels and the general hospitality industry. In addition to the manufactured products, we sell supporting products and services such accessories, service contracts and spare parts.

As part of our commitment to recycling, our Workshop refurbishes machines for the used machine market.

Due to continued success and increasing demand within the refurbished market we are now looking to recruit an additional Workshop Operative.

If you have previously worked in a similar role, or have worked in a service technician role, repairing electrical equipment, then we would be interested to read your career history and hopefully make you part of our team.

Workshop Operative.

Our small Workshop team are responsible for assessment, repairing, testing and cleaning returned equipment for resale into the used equipment market.

Quality and reliability are critical to maintain the high-level quality to meet our customers’ expectations for refurbished equipment.

You must be able to demonstrate dexterity, experience in repair, fault finding, a variety of warewashing equipment. You will have a high level of attention to detail and be mechanically minded.

Training on specific processes will be provided; however, previous service engineer/technician experience would be a distinct advantage.

Punctuality and an excellent attendance history are essential for all team members.

We are looking for an individual who is willing to be part of our very successful team, willing to work hard and to learn new skills to allow us to meet the increasing demands for our high-quality refurbished products.

This is a full-time position, hours are fixed 07:00 to 15:45 Monday to Friday with a 15-minute break in the morning and 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is often available.

Hours: Full Time – Permanent - 40 hours per week

07:00 to 15:45 Monday to Friday. 15-minute break in the morning and 30-minute lunch break.

We offer a fully equipped kitchen with seating area for break times.

Holiday Entitlement - 25 days per annum plus bank holidays.

Depending on experience:

Basic Training Rate: £12.50 per hour during training probation (3 months), rising to £12.80 per hour when Competent Operator level achieved after training.
