About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnostic testing, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant and defence-related equipment. You will play a key part in ensuring products meet original equipment specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess overall condition of products and individual components for fitness and viability.
Strip and rebuild units following manufacturer instructions and internal work guidelines.
Evaluate commercial viability and availability of parts before commencing work.
Complete job cards and update BOM requirements accurately.
Test products to OE specification and report any faults promptly.
Maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently and adhering to schedules.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
Accurately complete all required documentation, including job cards and QHSE records.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from management as needed.Requirements:

Proven experience in repair and maintenance of military vehicles or similar heavy equipment.
Engine and transmission strip and build experience is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) or willingness to learn.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of QHSE legislation.
Valid driving licence.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
