OTAQ has an enviable reputation as a leading manufacturer of underwater connectors, inserts, penetrators and moulded solutions with clients around the world including end users, distributors and multinational OEMs. Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 17:00 – These hours can be flexible if requiredThis is a full-time position based in Ulverston.The role is to support in the Production, Testing and Manufacture of the product range to the highest standard. Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation, manufacture and any testing of products produced. Responsible for the quality of products manufactured. Detailed wiring (soldering) and polyurethane moulding. Be a point of contact for status of production in work in progress Inspect and maintain tooling and equipment as far as possible Update all necessary job cards, as built drawings as required Effective management of all stock movements Perform the manufacture of products in-line with the production schedule. Work within the Health & Safety framework and promote a positive H&S culture. Liaise with internal stakeholders as required Contribute to the positive development of OTAQ, it’s processes and procedures Work experience preferred, however full training will be given. The candidate would need to be well organised, meticulous and able to work as part of a team. Experience in cable assembly, presswork and mould would be an advantage, but not a necessity Specific training will be given to the successful candidate.
