Wrap Around Assistant - Breakfast & After School Club

Let’s Educate are a recruitment agency seeking caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wrap Around Club Assistants on behalf of a local school in Fairford, Gloucestershire.

We are recruiting for both Breakfast Club and After School Club positions, with opportunities to work mornings, afternoons or both.

Working Hours

Breakfast Club: 7:45am – 8:45am

After School Club: 3:15pm – 5:30pm

Location: Fairford, Gloucestershire, GL7

The Role

As a Wrap Around Club Assistant, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming children and families in a friendly and positive manner.
Supervising children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Supporting fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
Assisting with breakfast and after-school snacks.
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and friendships.
Ensuring all children feel included, happy and supported.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment.
Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the clubs.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has a genuine passion for working with children.
Is caring, patient, approachable and enthusiastic.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is reliable, punctual and organised.
Understands the importance of safeguarding and children's welfare.
Can use their initiative and contribute to a positive environment.
Previous experience working with children is desirable, and relevant childcare qualifications are an advantage.
