Salary: £32,512 – £34,654 (FTE)
Location: Surrey
Hours: Part-time, 2:30pm – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Contract: Permanent

Are you someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and enjoys making a real difference in children’s lives? A popular and welcoming three-form entry Infant school in Surrey is looking for a caring and organised Wrap Around Care Manager to lead its after-school provision.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and has experience in managing both activities and staff. You’ll be at the heart of creating a safe, engaging, and fun space for pupils at the end of their school day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development and wellbeing.
• Leading a small team of staff, ensuring everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities each day.
• Supervising children during sessions, encouraging positive behaviour and stepping in when needed to resolve any issues.
• Making sure all resources and equipment are ready and safe to use.
• Preparing and serving snacks in line with health and dietary guidelines.
• Ensuring the club space is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
• Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the club, keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or childcare setting.
• Confident leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team.
• A warm, approachable manner with strong communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.
• A sound understanding of health and safety, with first aid training (or willingness to obtain it).
• A calm and supportive approach to managing behaviour and helping children with their social and emotional needs.
