Y Combinator BioTech Startup, Seeking Founding Engineer #10

Advanced therapeutics such as cell and gene therapies will provide cures to currently incurable diseases, and synthetic biology will revolutionise industrial manufacturing, energy and food production.

The company is an early-stage Y Combinator startup - Y Combinator invest $500k twice per year in startups and have launched more than 3,000 companies, including Airbnb, Coinbase, Cruise, DoorDash, Dropbox, Instacart, Quora, PagerDuty, Reddit, Stripe and Twitch!

Their software has helped Scientists reduce the time taken to develop bio-processes by 10x and optimise what matters most; preventing the loss of and improving lives using their “Airtable for scientists,” replacing the menagerie of tools old and new, from spreadsheets to MatLab, that researchers use to hold and corral data. This is achieved by offering a platform which combines non-invasive in situ data acquisition with proprietary models and ML.

They've helped biotech startups, contract development and manufacturing organisations, and are now starting to work with large pharmas. They want to be at the point where their software is the interface between scientists and their data across whole companies.

We're looking for Senior and Staff level Software Engineers to join as Founding Engineers #10 and #11 and lead the build and development of an all-in-one data analytics platform that'll help scientists leverage the power of intelligent databases, elegant visualisations and ML models.
