Yard Co-ordinator

Summary of Role

As Yard and Transport Co-ordinator, you will keep the yard clean, clear and organised, while supporting the Workshop and Foreman with machine movements and general duties.

Key Objectives

* Working with the Foreman /workshop administrator / Sales admin/Transport coordinator / Used equipment manager - to understand machine delivery schedules

* Arranging PDI machines with their complete suite of attachments for engineer’s works.

* Swift turnaround of haulage in the yard with no tractor units left on the road.

* Final check over of machine before it is dispatched to the customer on the designated haulage.

* Video of every machine that is dispatched from the Workshop.

* Controlling all transport in and out of the yard at Farnham:

* To manage the loading and unloading both inbound & outbound of machines for New/Workshop/Used.

* Cleaning new machines/Xhire Returns/ retail repairs.

* Preparing machines for dispatch with all correct 3rd party equipment.

* Raising a DOA to JCB immediately on receipt to JCB

* Controlling all outbound machines new & ready for loading and dispatch:

* PDI complete

* All 3rd party works and equipment are with the machine

* All attachments are located with the machine

* All certs are located with the machine

* Spec complete as per sales order

* Ensure that the machine is returned with the same equipment

* Using DMS Titan to release on return

* Controlling all in-bound new machines:

* Checking the spec is correct

* Using DMS Titan to book in upon arrival.

* Checking for damage on arrival

* All attachments

* Damage check - DOA

* Paint Check

* Titan (DMS) Trained – Ability to raise Warranty cards as and when required to support workshop.

* Titan DMS to book the machines in. Raising a Warranty card on the day and alerting Workshop Foreman

* Clean cab & provide floor mats.

* Park in appropriate position
