Yard Forklift Operative

Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard Operative - Paddock Wood - £13.21 per hour

Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour
Job Type: Temp ongoing or temp to perm for right candidate 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative to join our client in Paddock Wood. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative who holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and is comfortable working in a busy, heavy industrial environment.

Yard Operative Duties:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

Moving stock and materials around the yard

Assisting with goods in and goods out operations

General yard duties and housekeeping

Working both indoors and outdoors as required

Supporting warehouse and production teams when needed

Yard Operative Requirements:

Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence

Previous experience as a Yard Operative, Forklift Driver, FLT Driver, or Warehouse Operative

Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions when required

Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
