Yard operative

Our client is looking for a reliable Yard Worker to join their team. In this role, you'll help keep the yard running smoothly by organizing equipment and making sure everything is ready for use. Your work will play an important role in supporting daily operations and helping the team stay efficient.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring all equipment is stored safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine inspections of yard equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Support commercial driving tasks when necessary, including transporting materials to job sites.
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth yard operations.

Requirements

• Telehandler and 7.5.ton licence
• Experience in commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including digging and lifting heavy materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
