Yard Operative

Ashtead Technology are looking for a committed Yard Operative to support our Mechanical Solutions team in Thainstone. 

What you'll be doing:

• Keeping the yard and warehouse areas clean, tidy, organised, and free from hazards.
  


• Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and Banksman / Slinging duties as directed.


• Maintain the yard layout and outside racking to support safe and efficient operations.


• General yard maintenance as required.


• Ensure forklifts and yard equipment are maintained in good working condition and report defects promptly.

What experience you'll bring:

• Hands on experience in a similar role 


• A team player with a positive can-do attitude


• Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines and work on own incitive 


• B1 and B2 Forklift Licence


• Banksman / Slinger experience (preferred but not essential)
