Our client, a busy engineering and manufacturing business, is looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience working in a busy yard or warehouse environment, and ideally hold a valid Forklift Truck licence.

Yard Operative
Up to £15.00 per hour
Monday – Friday
Based near Chipping Campden

Yard Operative Job Description

• Loading and unloading deliveries using a Forklift Truck
• Moving materials safely around the yard and warehouse
• Organising stock and maintaining tidy storage areas
• Preparing materials for production and dispatch
• Carrying out general yard duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Yard Operative Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) licence desirable
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
