Job Title: Yard Operative with D1 License 
Location: Elland
Pay Rate: £12.71 p/h
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - (05:00 start)
Experience: No experience required (must hold a D1 Licence)

Nexus People are looking for a Hybrid Yard Operative and D1 Bus Driver in Elland to work with our client, who is the UK’s leading TV and monitor recycling plant.

Yard Operative/D1 Bus Driver – the role & responsibilities:

The shift will begin by collecting employees from a car park 1 mile away from the site using the D1 bus (until around 06:30)
Cleaning the site
Loading and Unloading
Heavy lifting up to 25kg
Completing relevant paperwork 
You will drop off/pick up workers during the shift when requiredThis role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills.

About you:

You must hold a valid D1 Licence (in-house certificate accepted)
Have good communication and people skills
This is a very active role, must be comfortable with heavy lifting (25kg) and working on your feet for long periods of time.You must be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
