The Role

As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of the yard while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard and customer area.

* Ensuring stock and materials are stored correctly and safely.

* Loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles.

* Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.

* Handling telephone and face-to-face stock and sales enquiries.

* Creating and maintaining clear signage and point-of-sale displays to ensure products are easily identified.

* Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient workflow.

* Supporting the wider team with various operational tasks as required.

* Saturday working is required as part of the role.
