Builders Yard Operative

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday

* Saturdays on a rota basis

Our client is looking for a hardworking and reliable Builders Yard Operative to join their busy and fast-paced builders' merchant yard. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a friendly, hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

* Serving trade and retail customers in the yard

* Picking and preparing customer orders

* Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe

* Operating a forklift (where qualified/experienced)

* Assisting with general yard duties as required

Requirements:

* A valid forklift licence or previous experience operating a forklift

* A strong work ethic and a positive attitude

* Ability to work in a busy, physical environment

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Reliable and punctual
