Location: Buckingham
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic, Plus Overtime, Company Pension Scheme, Death in Service, 25 Days Holiday, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Full Manufacturer Training.

Job Description:

We have a brand-new vacancy available for a Yardman located in Buckinghamshire region. This role will be working for an organisation who specialise in the manufacturing of cranes worldwide, they are a market leader within their field and known for their reputable brand.

As Yardman, you will be based within the head office in Buckingham and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the yard & supporting workshop facility with pre-delivery inspections on the machines. You will become an integral part of their close-nit team and play a fundamental role in ensuring the business operation runs effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Assisting with the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, or other vehicles.
• Stacking, sorting, and organising materials in the yard.
• Assisting with inventory control, including picking orders, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Performing pre-delivery inspections and maintenance on the cranes within the workshop.
• Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the yard area.
• Picking and loading orders to meet customer requirements.

Requirements of Role:
• Preferably hold a formal engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
• Hold a Forklift Licence (Essential)
• Time served experience in either mechanical or electrical engineering
• Slinger / Signaller Licence (Desirable)
• Hold a Full UK driving license
