NEOS Engineering are working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire business that is looking to recruit a Yardsperson to join their depot in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with heavy equipment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and wants to be part of a busy, supportive team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring plant and equipment are prepared, maintained, and presented to the highest standard before going out on hire.

The Role

Preparing plant and equipment for hire.
Cleaning, inspecting and carrying out basic checks on machinery.
Loading and unloading equipment safely.
Organising and maintaining a clean, tidy and safe yard.
Assisting workshop engineers where required.
Managing equipment movements around the depot.
Carrying out general yard duties and supporting depot operations.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working within a plant hire, construction, agricultural or heavy equipment environment.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
A strong work ethic with a hands-on attitude.
Good awareness of health and safety.
Forklift or telehandler experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Full UK Driving Licence.
