Yardsman - Lingfield

YARDSMAN – LINGFIELD

Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:30pm

We are recruiting for a Yardsman to join our client based in Lingfield.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving heavy lifting, moving stillages, loading/unloading and general yard duties.

Key Requirements

* Confident operating a counterbalance forklift – no ticket required

* Combi forklift experience advantageous

* Physically fit with good strength and stamina

* Basic PC and spreadsheet skills

* Good attention to detail and safety awareness

* Own transport essential

* Must live within 10 miles of Lingfield

Main Duties

* Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift

* Managing deliveries, collections and stock movements

* Packing, labelling and preparing goods for transport

* Moving and storing heavy stillages and materials

* Checking goods in/out and updating stock systems

* Using a PC/tablet for stock tracking and audits

* Carrying out daily forklift checks

* Monitoring and replenishing packing materials

* Quality checking incoming and outgoing goods

* Reporting damage, defects and maintenance issues

* Keeping the yard safe, tidy and organised
