A popular Islington primary school is looking for a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join its team.

This is an exciting role for a teacher who enjoys seeing children make those huge leaps in confidence as they move from Early Years into Key Stage 1.

You'll be joining a supportive team and will have the opportunity to develop a classroom environment where children feel confident, motivated and excited about learning.

What we're looking for:

A qualified teacher with QTS.
Someone enthusiastic about teaching young children.
Strong classroom management skills.
A creative approach to lesson planning.
A commitment to supporting every child's progress.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Your responsibilities will include:

Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 1 class.
Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum.
Developing phonics, reading, writing and maths.
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom.
Working alongside colleagues and support staff.
ECT or experienced teacher? Either is welcome.

The position is open to teachers from ECT through to M6, with salary/experience considered accordingly.
