Pay: £150 to £230 per day depending on experience

A primary school on the Wirral needs a Year 1 teacher. Year 1 is its own job, so the school are specifically looking for someone who understands the jump from Reception and will not spend the first half term working that out.
The role

Full class responsibility for a Year 1 class, planning, teaching and assessment
Delivering the school's phonics scheme and preparing pupils for the screening check
Keeping continuous provision running alongside more formal learning
Working with the EYFS lead on transition and with the Year 2 teacher on progression
Standard parent contact through the year
You will need

QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Key Stage 1 experience, ideally in Year 1 itself
Secure phonics knowledge, whichever scheme you have used
The patience that teaching five and six year olds actually takes
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
