Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development in a nurturing classroom environment.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to varying learning abilities and needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to ensure inclusive education for all.
- Assess and track pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and carers.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics strategies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
