Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons across the curriculum

• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment


• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and next steps


• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the highest standards of teaching


• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing


• Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1


• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, assessment, and differentiation
