The role:

Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom
Working with individual pupils, small groups, and occasionally the whole class
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and progressThe ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with primary-aged children
Be confident supporting learning within Key Stage 1
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be patient, nurturing, and proactive
Work effectively as part of a wider school team
