Year 2 Class Teacher - High Wycombe - January 2027

Academics are working with a large, well-established primary school in High Wycombe to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher for a January 2027 start.

The Role

Take responsibility for a Year 2 class, including planning, teaching, assessment, and pupil progress.

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.

Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the school.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Is committed to high-quality teaching and pupil progress.

Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Works effectively as part of a supportive school team.
