Year 2 Primary Teacher

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year from September 2026.

The Role

Full-time Year 2 Class Teacher position.
Immediate start available.

Full planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities.
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements.
Is passionate about raising attainment and supporting children's academic and personal development.
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.
