Year 2 Primary Teacher - Join a Leading Company

Our client school in Salford is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to join their team. This role is also open to ECTs looking to begin their teaching career.

Our partner school is one-form entry and they pride themselves on the welcoming school environment they have created. They believe in setting high expectations for all and developing their pupils into confident and independent learners. The children have good behaviour and the school uses a restorative approach when conflict does arise.

As a Year 2 teacher, you will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the curriculum as well as keep accurate planning and assessment records. The school utilises learning schemes such as White Rose Maths, Oxford Reading Tree and Read Write Inc to support learning. Previous experience with these schemes would be beneficial.

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• A secure knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum
• Experience in a Key Stage 1 setting
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
