Academics are working with a lovely mainstream primary school in Farnborough who are looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a long-term role starting in September 2025, with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

The school has a supportive leadership team and a strong community feel. They're looking for someone who is confident in delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum and can hit the ground running. You'll be teaching a well-behaved class and working alongside a friendly and experienced staff team.

About the role:

• Full-time Year 2 Teacher role

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to reach their full potential

• Working closely with teaching assistants and other KS1 staff

Who they're looking for:

• A qualified teacher (QTS)

• Someone with recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ideally Year 2)

• A strong classroom presence and good behaviour management

• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to school life
