The Role

Position: Year 2 Teacher

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered

TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Lead a Year 2 class and prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments.


• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that promote progress and independence.


• Assess learning and plan interventions where needed.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support every child’s learning.


• (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.


• Strong understanding of Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.


• Reflective, organised, and collaborative approach.
